In addition, zeolite can combine with a binder to produce extruded catalysts with cylindrical geometry (pellets) that are ready to use for various catalytic processes. The beneficial aspect of the extruded catalyst is not only to prevent pressure drops in the system but also to inhibit the formation of aggregates.
