Congratulations for our recent article in Biosensors and Bioelectronics

Congratulations to Watinee Nunthakitgoson, a Ph.D. student from the School of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE) under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chularat Wattanakit for the recent article in Biosensors and Bioelectronics.

Topic: Selective electrochemical detection of cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) at molecular-imprinted mesoporous Pt-Ir surfaces

In this work focuses on the elaboration and application of a novel electrochemical sensor based on molecular-imprinted mesoporous Pt-Ir alloys for the selective detection of cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). These findings open up new perspectives for the development of molecular-imprinted metal electrodes as an interesting alternative to traditional chromatographic methods.

This research was financially supported by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (N42A660307), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (grant number: B41G680026), and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (Awarded R&D Grant No. FA2386-23-1-4015). The work was also supported by Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) through the IRP project ChiraChem and the French Academy of Sciences.
