During June 24-25, 2025, the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) held a special session on “Catalytic Systems for Contemporary Challenges” in the 20th Asian Chemical Congress, Bangkok, Thailand
In the session led by Assoc. Prof. Chularat Wattanakit from the School of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE), VISTEC in collaboration with Dr. Thidarat Imyen from Kasetsart University and Dr. Supawadee Namuangruk from NSTDA, it aims to advance the future application of new catalytic systems to a sustainable circular economy. The broad spectrum of catalysis, ranging from energy to environmental applications, was demonstrated. The workshop brought together leading researchers from several universities, including:
